Liquid Damage Cleaning Service
Consider this repair more as a thorough cleaning and inspection service. No guarantee that your device will be repaired, but simply that it is cleaned and fully tested. If the repair requires replacement parts, those will be additionally charged.
We disassemble the phone first and prepare motherboard with other affected parts for special cleaning
Next, we wash the motherboard using ultrasonic cleaner with special liquid designed for electronic devices, later we check it with microscope that it is cleaned (we repeat the process if needed)
Later, we run a diagnostic to determine if the phone powers on and if there are any issues
If the phone still does not work, we check what could be done to fix it and prepare you the quote
Once you agree to proceed, we continue the repair (may take up to few days)
We can still try to retrieve your data even if the phone cannot be repaired, please ask
We need 1-2 days to complete the water damage cleaning process. In many cases this service fixes your device. Once the cleaning and inspection service has been completed, the fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the phone has been repaired or not.

Water or liquid damage is one of the most difficult kind of repairs. Actually anything could happen to the inside of your mobile phone. Sometimes it may require to change some components on your device’s motherboard.
Our recommendation is to act fast because phone left with liquid damage for few days, have smaller chances to be repaired. Don’t just try to dry it. It is not enough.
Liquid damage repair procedures.
The water damage service consists of few stages. First, we disassemble the device and look for liquid affected places. Then we remove those components including the motherboard and prepare it for washing using ultrasonic cleaner. We wash it with specific liquid, specially designed for this operation. After that, we check under microscope that all the corrosion has been removed. Once we confirm that the phone has been fully cleaned, we start the drying process. This needs few hours. Later, we assemble the phone back and see if it is fully working. The service fee applies regardless if the phone is functional. We don’t give any warranty for cleaning, if it works, you just take it. If it stops working any time in the future, it means that it require additional parts. Sometimes it cannot be repaired anymore. Please note we need to prepare the motherboard for the cleaning by removing protective shields that cover some components. Those shields in some cases cannot be installed back but it does not affect functionality of the phone.
Second stage. If we find that the phone cannot be repaired, we check what actually is damaged. Sometimes it can be the screen itself (this cannot be repaired by washing). Very often phone requires new battery, sometimes it needs a new camera, charging port or fixing something on the motherboard. If we find that the motherboard cannot be repaired, we will search for the motherboard replacement. We will give you the quote asking if you need your data to be recovered or you just need a working phone. Sometimes fixing the phone means that your data are back but in some cases we can just try to get your data without fixing the phone. This is your choice.
Third stage is completing the repair. We may need few days to fix it but you will be informed about the process. If the phone cannot be repaired because the replacement part cannot be sourced or if it would exceed the quote, we will let you know and charge you only for the water damage cleaning fee. We never push you to do the repair, we always ask you first!
About the ultrasonic cleaning process.
Ultrasonic cleaning machines use high-frequencies to cause cavitation ; the violent implosion of billions of minute bubbles in the cleaning solution contained in an ultrasonic cleaner tank. The bubbles are created by transducers bonded to the bottom of the tank and excited to ultrasonic frequencies by generators. The implosion of these bubbles blasts away contaminants on the surface of parts being cleaned.
Ultrasonic can be defined as sound waves that have frequencies above the upper limit of the normal range of human hearing, which is about 20 kilohertz (20 kHz or 20,000 cycles per second). While that is true, ultrasonic cleaners when operating can be heard due to the action created by what we call ultrasonic cavitation.
There are a variety of contaminants that can accumulate on a PCB. Attacking the offending problem with the correct corresponding method will be more effective and efficient, and cause fewer headaches.

Partially working water damaged phones.
Sometimes after liquid damage your device may switch on or give some other symptoms that it is partially functional. Every time to do the repair, we need to clean the motherboard first before attempting the repair. Some mobile phones that are heavily damaged stop to work completely after cleaning. We still recommend to clean the phone after water damage but please consider the possibility that it may stop to work completely on some very rare occasions. This is not about further damage caused but about consequence of removing the corrosion from the damaged phone. We don’t accept any claims that the phone is even more damaged than it was and we still ask for the water damage service fee, as we follow same set of procedures leading to fixing your phone.
Existing damage to the front or back of your phone ?
If the screen of your phone is physically broken or the back is damaged, we don’t take responsibility if the crack will spread. Sometimes the back panel causes some colour distortions on the back paint of the back panel. We may need to inform you about that before we proceed.
About the warranty for water damage service.
The water damage cleaning service does not guarantee that your phone will be functional after work. It only guarantees that it has been professionally cleaned. There is no warranty. If there are any issues arising later after we have completed the cleaning, this only means that some components had some partial damage already but could not be seen. If we have replaced anything for your phone to work, we guarantee those parts to work for 6 months. In any case, the fee is not refundable.
Optionally, we can provide you with pictures of the work that we have completed. We will show you the phone before and after the water damage cleaning. Please ask before we start the job.
Please note: If you phone does not work after cleaning or you don’t agree with the cost for fixing it, there will be charge for water damage cleaning fee as we have spend few hours following all repair procedures.
Frequently asked questions
We use highest quality replacement parts to fix your iPhone. All parts are tested before we fit them. Screen replacements are iPhone same specification, expect perfect repair.
We use highest quality parts and bonding material but we cannot be responsible for your waterproof phone to be water resistant after repair as this is a subject to the manufacturer’s internal tests when they manufacture the phone. Although we believe that it should be water resistant to some degree, you expose it to water at your own risk.
We offer warranty on all hardware repairs except liquid damage. The warranty covers parts and labours. Software repairs can be guaranteed but depends on the problem. You will be informed once we diagnose the problem with your phone.
Please tell us how much you can pay for the phone repair. In many cases we can offer you a discount. Yes, we are open to negotiations.
There are few factors determining time of the repair. For services that we have parts in stock, we are return it fixed within 5 working days or for next day if you choose priority repair. For water damaged phones, diagnostic service or software issues, the repair may take few days. If we need to get parts for the repair, this may take also few more days. Always contact us first to avoid the disappointment.
We never delete your data. Your files stay intact for the whole process of the repair. Although we ask you for the password, we only use it to test the phone after repair. We guarantee the discretion. Please check our privacy policy. At the same time, we are not liable for your data loss if that happens as a result of unforeseen complications.
Once we receive the phone for the repair, we will check the problem by running if thought set of diagnostic tests. If we find that the phone cannot be repaired because of the damage being too complex, we will inform you about this and ask for a diagnostic fee. If we fail to repair your device and this is our fault, we don’t charge you and we will return the device for free. This includes if the repair take longer than we agreed, when we order wrong replacement parts or if we fail to diagnose the problem correctly. In such cases, you have the right to cancel the repair and request the return. Those are very rare situations as we treat each repair individually.

You may wish to pay after the repair but we won’t order replacement parts until we receive your device which may cause 2-3 days delays. 3.Wrap your device safely. We suggest to use the Royal Mail service for small devices like mobile phones (insured up to £500 and costs around £7.50). For laptops, tablets or drones, please use DHL, DPD or Parcel Force.

How do we return fixed devices ?
Shipping method will depend on the size of your device and the turnaround time that you will choose at the checkout.
Standard (mobile phones) – free delivery, return within 5 working days from the moment we receive your phone. Send with Royal Mail, Insured up to £500. Tracking number available.
Tablets and Laptops Standard – 2-3 working days, costs £19 for tablets and £29 for laptops.
Express Priority – Return for the next day from the moment we received and fix your phone. Sometimes we may need an extra day. Insured up to £500. Costs £19 for phones, £29 for tablets and laptops. If you select pay after repair, express service may not work.
Collection – collect the device in person after the repair.
Accepted payment methods
Debit or Credit Card, Apple / Android Pay, Paypal, bank transfers or cash. You may decide to pay after the repair when you send your device for repair via post (please note we will order replacement parts only after we receive your device which may cause 2-3 days delays).
Prepare Your Device Before You Post It
1.Although we leave your device’s internal storage untouched, it is always recommended to do the backup.
2.Include the password / PIN / pattern lock with your phone or remove it. You can also factory reset, create second user or guest account. We just need to test your device after repair.
3.Remove memory card and the SIM card from your phone but include the SIM card tray. For other devices, remember to remove the memory cards.
4.Don’t include accessories, send us just the device.
5.Make pictures of outside of your device for your reference (optional).
6.Pack your device with bubble wrap, put the order number on top of the parcel and your return address at the back.
